There’s been a surge in searches for “skin barrier health” over the past year; that’s according to SPATE, a leading machine intelligence platform for consumer behavior analysis. It's combined with a remarkable 35% increase in interest in skin health overall. Why this sudden emphasis on barrier health? After years of increased skin care experimentation and product overuse, many consumers are now grappling with compromised skin barriers, which lead to irritation, dullness, acne, clogged pores and overall impaired barrier function.Check out our latest feature in American Spa magazine and read about the barrier discovery our skin scientists recenlty made: the link between cellular respiration and barrier function. https://lnkd.in/ghB3urGE#SkincareScience #ProfessionalSkincare #BarrierHealth #HealthySkin #Bioelements

Our skin scientists have always championed the benefits of a strong, healthy skin barrier. And they discovered something incredible: the link between cellular respiration and barrier function. Oxygen is essential for various critical skin functions, from cellular energy production to enhancing the skin's natural repair and renewal processes. Key benefits of oxygen for skin health include: Cellular Energy Production: Oxygen is crucial for converting nutrients into energy, powering essential functions like cell turnover and barrier integrity. Pore Purification: Oxygen combats acne by disrupting anaerobic bacteria environments, clarifying and refining skin texture. Tissue Health and Collagen Synthesis: Adequate oxygen levels expedite wound healing, support collagen production, and enhance skin’s elasticity and firmness. Protection and Vitality: Oxygenated skin can better ward off environmental stressors and maintain a radiant, youthful glow. We’ve developed groundbreaking new formulas with a potent Triple Oxygenating Complex – Oxygen Boost Barrier Treatment and Oxygen Boost Barrier Treatment Pro – to deliver a burst of essential oxygen topurify pores, add vibrance, maintain elasticity + improve barrier integrity both at home and in the treatment room.
