Yesterday, START Helsinki proudly organized a company visit to Sievo! 🤩🔥 Sievo is the leading procurement analytics solution for data-driven enterprises. With two decades of expertise, they excel in extracting, classifying, and enriching data across all ERPs, procurement systems, and external sources, empowering clients to save valuable time in decision-making. In their own words, “We’re pretty damn good at turning even the crappiest data into actionable insights!”The visit featured engaging speeches, networking opportunities, and delicious pizza. It was truly an evening well spent! ⭐️ Thank you to Anusha Ramakrishnan for the Sievo introduction and offering us insight into her role as Head of Talent Acquisition. Additionally, we express our appreciation to Anna Ö. Tapiovaara for her engaging discussions on Growth, Culture and Assholes. ⭐️ We were also privileged to be joined by CEO and Co-founder Sammeli Sammalkorpi for an engaging presentation on his personal journey as an entrepreneur and what it means to be a leader. Over the past two days, START Helsinki had the privilege of volunteering at the CRUSH and Invest in Her events! ⭐️The Crush Movement unites thought leaders to redefine contemporary notions of success, aiming to dismantle patriarchal norms and cultivate a future fueled by feminine energy and soft values.From founders and CEOs to authors, investors, and women making a difference in the healthcare sector, there was no shortage of inspiring individuals making a positive impact in their respective fields. 🤩It was a pleasure to connect with so many wonderful, motivated ladies, including Kamilla Sultanova, Jeanette Carlsson, Angeliki Papagiannopoulou, and numerous other inspiring women, each bringing unique perspectives and experiences to the table.Huge thanks to Anna Pyykkö and Katja Presnal and Shevestments for organizing this fabulously colorful event and having us onboard. START Helsinki recently had the pleasure of participating in the Entrepreneurial Energy event during Vaasa's Energy Week. The event was organized and sponsored by Hanken Business Lab. Having applied we were thrilled to get accepted and join a diverse group of students representing entrepreneurial societies from Hanken School of Economics, Arcada University of Applied Sciences, Metropolia University of Applied Sciences, and Laurea University of Applied Sciences💡 The EnergyAcademy: Back to the Future REVISITED! event provided a thought-provoking platform bringing together representatives from six universities of Vaasa alongside leading companies in the energy sector including ABB Oy, Danfoss, and Wärtsilä Finland. Led by students, the discussion was lively, fueled by provocative questions.💡 The event concluded with valuable networking opportunities, fostering connections with students, educators, and industry professionals. We also enjoyed hearing perspectives from Nina Ingves, Joakim Strand, Peter Vesterbacka, Eleonor Hedström, Ronny Eriksson, and Linnea Strand on the future of business and the Vaasa region.Friday's beautiful weather allowed us to explore and appreciate Vaasa's charm.
