Staten Island Residential Internet Coverage
As one of the largest cities in New York, Staten Island is served by many established internet service providers.
Through Verizon Fios, much of Staten Island has access to high-speed fiber internet. Covered neighborhoods include St. George and New Brighton in the north, Tottenville in the south, Old Place in the west, and Midland Beach in the east.
RCN is a growing internet service provider in this area, although its service area is currently limited to part of northern Staten Island. Coverage is only available as far south as Grasmere, just south of I378. Coverage is available in certain neighborhoods north of this area, including Park Hill, Clifton, and Tompkinsville. The northwestern neighborhoods of Elm Park and Westerleigh are also in the RCN service area.
Through Time Warner Cable, a significant part of Staten Island enjoys access to high-speed internet. This provider serves most major neighborhoods, excluding Great Kills Park and part of Chelsea.
