The Real Housewives of New Jersey alum Jacqueline Laurita had a teen daughter, Ashlee Holmes, formally Ashlee Holmes Malleo, while on the show, and Ashlee made quite an impression during her time on the series. Ashlee was on the show for seasons 1 -5 and reappeared in season 7 alongside her mother. The 31-year-old began her stint on television as a rebellious teen, but she's changed since she appeared on the popular Bravo series.

When Ashlee first appeared on RHONJ alongside her mom Jacqueline, she was struggling in school and sneaking out of the house. Jacqueline's daughter attended summer school, and her husband, Chris Laurita, bought Ashlee a new car to give to her if she got good grades. In season 2, Ashlee was taken to court for pulling Danielle Staub's hair extensions at a Posche Fashion Show. Ashlee, who was 19 years old at the time, was found guilty of simple assault. She received her cosmetology license in 2014 at Make-up Designory and worked for well-known cosmetic companies like Sephora, Stila, and Bobbi Brown.

Ashlee has continued her work in makeup since going to school for it in 2014. Ashlee even has an Instagram page dedicated to her work as a makeup artist called ashleeholmesmua. She has done makeup for several past and present RHONJ ladies, including Rachel Fuda and Caroline Manzo. Ashlee's clients also include Margaret Joseph and Dolores Catania ,who follow the account, so they've likely hired Ashlee in the past.

During RHONJ season 7 in 2016, Ashlee got engaged to Pete Malleo. Later that year, on August 30, the couple welcomed their son, Cameron Hendrix Malleo. Due to Ashlee's pregnancy, they decided to hold off on wedding plans. Two years after their engagement, Ashlee and Pete wed at the NYC City Clerk's Office in 2018. They filed for separation in June 2020 after just two years of marriage. While they reconciled for a time, the two officially filed for divorce in November 2021 after speculation that Pete was cheating on his wife.

Ashlee will never forget her RHONJ roots. Seeing as she does the makeup for some of the housewives, Ashlee will always be ingrained in the show. Besides staying close to her roots, Ashlee has been spending most of 2024 with her son Cameron.

Ashlee's most recent Instagram post with her son is from May 26, where the two are side by side, with Cameron making a funny face and Ashlee throwing up a peace sign with the caption, "Me and my buddy." She even shared a photo of the two from May 10 with Cameron decked out in Star Wars gear. Ashlee clearly loves her son and is always putting him first.

Besides continuing to be an amazing mother, Ashlee has continued growing as a makeup artist. As mentioned before, Ashlee has done the makeup for several RHONJ women. One of her more recent clients was Rachel, which Ashlee shared on her social media on April 21.

She also confirmed on March 24 that she was open for bookings most of the spring and early summer. In 2023, Ashlee also had a breast cancer scare and reminded fans to get checked, though it turned out to be a fibroadenoma she needed to get removed. However, Ashlee has not given her followers an update on this; hopefully, she is still doing well.

It is refreshing to see how much Ashlee has changed since her days on the show. She is a hands-on single mom to her young son and cis a thriving makeup artists.
