The funeral for Esker Lee Gilpin was held from Memory Chapel yesterday at 4 p.m. Pallbearers were Fred Joe Hannas, Stuart Jackson, Virgil Parker, Billy Reynolds, Emmette Jordan and Joe Varner, P. N. McDonald, rector of the Church the Ascension, officiated. Burial was Greenwood.

H. JENKINS. P. E. Jenkins, formerly of Montgomery, died yesterday at his home in Rocky Mount, N.

Mr. Jenkins, an employe of the Atlantie Coast' Line Railroad, was transferred to North Carolina from Montgomery about three years ago. Surviving are his widow and one son. Burial will be at Savannah Saturday. A.

Hol-' land was born and reared in Dale County He was a member of the Baptist Church. Surviving are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Tom Holland, and six brothers, Colley, Clarence, Clayton, Sonnie, Auble, and Donnie B. Holland.

The funeral was held from the Baptist Church in Daleville Wednesday afternoon, with Dr. W. D. Ogletree, of Enterprise, officiating. Burial was in the local cemetery, with Searcy in charge.
